Performance Levels

Available in two performance levels, the CRS Series 9 works with Bluetooth enabled Pocket PCs and other devices running Windows Mobile, Windows CE 3.0 or greater, or Windows XP. SocketScan software sends scanned data directly into your favorite application.

Automatic Bluetooth Connections

Socket Connect!Agent software for Windows Mobile and XP makes Bluetooth easy to use by automatically configuring and managing the wireless connection.

ActivePairing

The Socket ActivePairing mode allows the CRS Series 9 scanners to connect to a Windows XP host computer without requiring the host to initiate a connection. The CRS can connect or disconnect from a host computer by simply scanning a special bar code.

Mid Range: CRS 9M

Class 1 laser can scan large volumes at high speeds, over long distances (35+ inches), and in difficult lighting conditions, even through glass. Class 2 Bluetooth radio has a maximum range of 30 ft

Performance: CRS 9P

Class 2 laser offers maximum peformance, including long distance scanning (45+ inches), and scanning in extreme conditions, such as outdoors in bright sunlight. Class 1 Bluetooth radio provides a maximum range of 330 ft
